Verbatim from cloud.ionos.com/protection: 'The customer's data is always stored in the data centers of their choice. IONOS Cloud does not move customer data to other locations without the customer's consent.' A third German cloud data center was announced in early 2025. The full IONOS group operates 29 data centers across hosting, email, shared and cloud product lines.
